SUMMARY
Ensure Atec product quality through preparation and verification of quality assurance records and
inspection deliverables conforming to customer purchase orders, engineering, specifications, and internal
quality processes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of quality assurance inspection deliverables; able to verify
certifications and inspection data to customer requirements, complete the required forms and present the
completed package for review
Develop and initiate AS9100 inspection plans and First Article Inspection Reports
Create inspection plans in the quality database (HighQA) by creating bubbled drawings, inspection sheets
and dimensional data to be able to upload data from CMM and manual inspection
Review of all certifications for conformity and correctness to requirements
Work closely with Quality Management, CMM programmers, Aerospace quality inspectors, and internal
customers to assure high quality parts and services that meet or exceed all requirements.
Observe and maintain notes on the open work order / open PO dashboard for quality assurance activities
Professionally and effectively communicate with Quality Management, inspectors, and internal customers
Observe all safety and HR policies
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work
environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization
(AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES
Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Atec Improvement Machine (AIM) as appropriate.
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and minimum of two (2) years of work
experience with quality records or equivalent documentation specific experience and/or training; or
combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
Superb computer skills, including database management.
Meticulous and adept in technical proofreading.
Proficient in the use of the Quality Database (HighQA).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to work with inspection equipment; reach
overhead with hands and arms; and stoop, bend; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Participation in the Atec vision verification program is required.
Vision requirements include an acceptable rating in near vision and color vision in at least one eye
(corrected or uncorrected).
