SUMMARY
Inspect products at various stages of production process and complete inspection and test records. Ensure quality
and reliability of products by developing test apparatus and methods to prove functionality and design of new
products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply basic skills while developing some specialized skills in procedures, operations, techniques, tools,
materials, and/or equipment appropriate to area of specialization; performs routine and/or repetitive tasks;
limited decision making required; generally, works under close supervision; has limited experience; work
is performed from within specific limits of established procedures and/or defined instructions.
Interpret oral and written instructions, specifications, engineering drawings or inspection instructions to
determine quality and reliability standards.
Select products for inspection at specified stages in the production process, and inspect for variety of
qualities such as dimensions, performance, and especially mechanical or electrical characteristics.
Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards and
specifications.
Write reports/documents according to quality procedures.
Utilize electronic measuring and test equipment to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic
assemblies and sub-assemblies to the component level.
(Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
Verify current calibration on all measurement equipment used for product acceptance and
reporting any damaged or nonconforming equipment to Quality Management.
Document and create quality records in the quality database, ISO9000 inspection, or other forms both
paper and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software based, as appropriate per process performed.
Identification, quarantine, and processing of nonconforming products per procedure.
Communicate measurement results and progress with Quality Management,
inspectors, and internal customers.
Observe all safety and HR policies.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work
environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Celtech International Standards Organization (ISO)
policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES
Be familiar with and understand Celtech Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required ISO9000 specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all work routers and understand the quality requirements for each task.
Participate in Celtech Continuous Improvement Process as appropriate.
Participate in ISO9000 training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate manager/supervisor.
Complete Internal ISO9000 Audits.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or minimum of 1 year work experience in a
machine shop/electronics manufacturing/assembly environment; or combination of education and
experience.
Entry level training in business management and plant operations, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, e-mail.
Experience in direct dealing with customers and suppliers preferred.
DOT experience in working with carriers, shipping documentation, packaging, and product protection in
transit to customer etc. preferred.
Prior experience in manufacturing, traffic, government business, contract management preferred.
Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Training Level I – florescent penetrant and visible dye preferred.
General knowledge in the use of manual inspection tools preferred
Basic knowledge with ISO9001 quality processes preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employees are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to work with inspection equipment, reach
overhead with hands and arms, stoop, or bend, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Normal factory setting.
May require close proximity to electrical devices.
Employees are expected to wear appropriate personal safety protection in areas so posted, all employees
are expected to wear appropriate footwear in manufacturing areas.
Employees are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Noise levels in the environment are usually moderate to loud.
Extended work hours and travel may occasionally be required.
