SUMMARY
Support the continuous improvement and training of the company’s compliance policies, procedures, and
ensuring alignment with changing regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with training and continuous improvement of company U.S. Trade compliance policies and
procedures to comply with changing regulations.
Handle day-to-day trade compliance by ensuring export and/or import compliance with U.S. Department
of Commerce, State, Customs, and other government agencies regulations.
Prepare draft export license packages for submission to the DDTC related to ITAR Chapter 22 part 121
which are reviewed and approved by management.
Handle processing of DDTC export license documentation within the DDTC portal and all related postprocessing after approval.
Develop ECCN determinations and if required, prepare draft export licenses related to the CCL (typically
600 series) which are reviewed and approved by management. Handle processing of export license
documentation within the BIS export license portal.
Log and enter Request for Quotes (RFQ's) in bid tracking for quote number assignment and ensure data is
current.
Initiate job quote packages and ensure timely response.
Obtain necessary copies of drawings, and/or Bill of Materials (BOM) from Document Control or customer.
Assist in bid and proposal activity.
Create and submit requests for solicitation packages from government and commercial customers.
Review contract for customer requirements to ensure compliance.
Ensure all contract/purchase orders and modifications are properly implemented.
Issue Contract Management instructions as necessary to properly inform other departments of special
requirements.
Interface with functional departments involved in customer contract/purchase orders through completion
of the contract/purchase order.
Analyze job status reports with respect to labor and material budgets, material details, shipping status and
overall monitoring of the contract/purchase order.
Generate invoices, submit to the customer and follow-up.
Coordinate and participate in customer meetings.
Travel is not typically required but may be necessary to other company, suppliers and customer sites.
Assist with procedure development and training where applicable.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work
environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization
(AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate.
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and/or combination of education and experience.
Experience in the aerospace and defense market is preferred.
Knowledge of US export control laws and regulations.
Experience with DDTC, BIS, OFAC, ATF
Proven knowledge of ITAR Chapter 22 part 121-130
Experience with Facility Clearance is desirable but not required.
