SUMMARY
Assist the Human Resources manager and other HR team members with planning and carrying out policies
relating to all phases of human resources activity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with recruiting process.
Update and maintain various spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for confidential HR documents.
Calculate and process employee vacation payouts in accordance with company policies.
Enter and track vacation and sick time in online system.
Coordinate recognition program, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of awards.
Maintain and update the company's driver list ensuring compliance with company policies.
Respond promptly to employee requests.
Handle various administrative tasks, including PTO approvals, form processing, and document
management.
Assist in coordinating new hire processes, including paperwork and orientation to ensure a smooth
transition for new employees and foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Assist with termination procedures, track paperwork completion, and provide support to departing
employees.
Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives, as needed.
Assist in annual HR audit processes.
Assist with the open enrollment process.
Assist with the performance review process
Assist in accurately inputting employee information into various HR systems and databases for
governmental reporting purposes.
Assist in creating and generating HR reports, as needed.
Assist with company-wide training, as needed.
Enter training records into database and file paper copies.
Become a member of the morale/outreach committee
Assist with coverage of reception area, when needed.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work
environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization
(AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES
Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM,
Suggestion box, etc.).
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of 2 years of administrative
experience and/or training, preferably in human resources or office setting; or combination of education
and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Professional Human Resources Certification or Society Professional Human Resources Certification
preferred.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
