SUMMARY
Perform all required tasks to produce products on CNC machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work
environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Celtech International Standards Organization
(ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
Able to follow detailed work instructions (verbal and written) to setup and operate CNC machines.
Validate machine programs and work instructions before machining to assure accuracy of operations.
Select tooling, holding fixtures and needed accessories to operate and maintain CNC machine.
Identify a crash before it occurs.
Determine machine reference points and tooling offsets, enter required machine reference points and
offsets into machine control.
Notify the programmer of any needed changes to the program or set up instructions to fix or improve
the process.
Process remaining parts while conducting constant checks and inspections to insure dimensional and
surface finish requirements are being met for the entire part run.
Able to read and interpret (GD&T) geometric dimensions and tolerances.
Proficient in the use of various measuring instruments calipers, micrometers, dial bore gages,
micro height etc.
Proficient in deburring, tapping, and polishing to all required dimensions and surface finishes.
Make any necessary programming changes and save proven program in master file through designee.
Option for laser operation.
Laser Operation Responsibilities:
Proficient in Cypcut software for large fiber laser cutter
Proficient in Lightburn software for smaller CO2 laser cutter/engraver
Knowledge of nozzle selection based on material type and thickness.
Knowledge of assistant gas selection based on material type
Knowledge of where to focus laser beam based on gas selection, material type, and material
thickness.
Ability to adjust gas pressure, nozzle, selection, and feed rate to ensure edges are smooth and require
minimal de-burring.
Proficient in layout work to ensure holes in boxes are located accurately.
Proficiency in measuring techniques to ensure parts have been cut according to engineering
drawings.
Effective de-burring after parts have been cut.
Proficiency in One CNC software to draw parts according to engineering drawings.
Proficiency using Time Saver panel sander to apply grain patterns to aluminum panels.
Maintenance of fiber laser and CO2 laser.
Ability to safely use jib crane to load raw materials on and off laser cut bed.
Maintain clean shop and safe working area.
Ability to troubleshoot settings (feed rate, gas pressure, etc.) if material is not cutting correctly.
Import drawings in .DXF format into Cypcut for parts to be cut.
Knowledge of various power settings and feed rates for CO2 laser to cut/engrave different materials.
Knowledge of safe vs. unsafe materials to cut with a laser.
Demonstrate a consistent ability to meet the challenge of quick turn projects with no impact on work
quality.
Demonstrate a consistent ability to produce parts with a minimum of quality rejections.

ISO9000 SPECIFIC DUTIES
Be familiar with and understand Celtech Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required ISO9000 specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Celtech Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate.
Participate in ISO9000 training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
One to two years of technical or vocational college or 3 - 5+ years related experience and/or training;
or combination of education and experience.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and
trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical
situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and finger; reach with hands and
arms, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus,
good eyesight, by lenses if necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and machinery.
Noise levels in the work environment is usually loud.
Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.
